This Divine Insights book focuses on the interior insights that St. Josemaría Escrivá received in his early priestly life. Many of these insights were the fruits of his Scripture meditations with a focus on God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as well as a the fruits of a deep devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The author points out that we, much like St. Josemaría, can also be vessels of percipient interior insights: “Our diligent seeking and pondering can prepare our soul to receive these lights.”
Themes include God’s fatherhood, the sense and strengthening of divine filiation, abandoning oneself in God’s hands, identifying with Christ through the Cross, having real friendship with Jesus Christ, and placing oneself into his wounds in order to serve others, listening to the Holy Spirit, and seeking Jesus through a strong devotion to his Blessed Mother.
